ZnSeTe quantum dots are attracting attention for next-generation display applications due to their tunable bandgap, high efficiency and excellent colour purity. The introduction of ligands into quantum dots is essential for their dispersion stability and long lifetime. Among them, thiolate ligands have been well studied and proven to be effective in enhancing stability. However, the binding mechanism is not clear, slow kinetics during synthesis and high cost are problems. We searched for new ligands and decided to introduce phosphate-based ligands, which are characterised by surface-dependent binding modes to quantum dots. We expect to achieve excellent luminescence, high efficiency and excellent stability.
