Atmosphere contains ample fresh water, but efficient harvesting remains undeveloped. Traditional passive atmospheric water sorbents require consistent solar irradiation for desorption, limiting water harvest due to variable solar intensity. We present a polymer–zeolite that simultaneously and continuously sorbs and releases atmospheric water. This hydro-active polymer, combined zeolite enhances sorption kinetics, water uptake, and spontaneous water release. We investigated the water vapor adsorption and thermosensitivity of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) gel (NIPA gel) cross-linked with N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide (MBAA) for desiccant humidity control PNIPAM gels, synthesized at varying concentrations showed increased water vapor adsorptivity with higher MBAA and lower NIPA concentrations. cross-linked NIPA gels' thermosensitivity, similar to NIPA homopolymer but shifted to higher temperatures, effectively improves water adsorptivity.
