Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) are promising materials for future display technologies due to their high color purity. This talk will explore the advantages and methods of using MHPs in display technologies, focusing on innovative nanostructures in perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) to enhance the efficiency of perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). We’ll cover comprehensive strategies to suppress defect generation in PNCs. We will discuss a modified bar-coating method, which maintains efficiency even when the emission area is increased. We will introduce an advanced core/shell PNC synthesis method for bright, efficient, and stable PeLEDs. This talk also includes the design of hybrid tandem PeLEDs with an optimal structure for efficient light emission with narrow bandwidth. We will present a lattice-strengthening strategy, improving luminous efficiency of PeLEDs. These advancements highlight the potential of MHPs as promising materials for next-generation display technologies.
