In this study, we explored the potential of cyclopentadithiophene (CPDT) based zwitterionic conjugated polyelectrolytes (CPEs) as active layers in organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs). By altering the alkyl side chains of these CPEs, we aimed to improve both ion and electron conductivity. In the future, we will introduce zwitterions into the alkyl side chains and investigate how the relative distance of these zwitterions to the backbone affects electrochemical doping behavior. Subsequently, using ion gel electrolyte systems, we will examine the doping behaviors and apply the findings to OECTs. This result suggests that the placement of zwitterion will have a significant impact on its electrochemical properties.
