In general, Epoxy Resins used in High-Voltage (H/V) motors vary in curing time and impregnation depending on the concentration of the main agent and curing agent. Epoxy Resin, which is used for VPI impregnation of H/V motors, affects the insulation performance of H/V motor stator, but Naturally Cured Resin, which is applied to the rotor for maintenance, is applied to the rotor. In this study, the electrical characteristics of seven items were measured using a Dielectric Curing Monitor (DEA) for samples that have been changed to new curing materials due to discontinuation of production of existing curing materials. As a result of the test, there was no significant difference in electrical performance, but it was confirmed that the viscosity of the new curing material was high under the same curing conditions as the characteristics of browning during the curing process.
