Vitrimer is a new type of polymer material with permanent network structure like thermosetpolymers; yet it can also exhibit morphology changes akin to thermoplastic polymers. Covalentbonding of vitrimer allows topology changes without changing the number of bond, which makesvitrimer recyclable and reprocessable. During cooling, the viscosity of vitrimer changes rapidly at acertain temperature, the vitrimer transition temperature. Despite numerous ongoing investigations intovitrimer applications, there is disagreement regarding how to measure and define the vitrimertransition temperature and the associated structural changes.In this study, epoxy-acid vitrimer was used to examine the temperature-dependent physicalproperties and the microscopic behavior of the polymer chain at the microscopic level. Therheological properties of vitrimer were assessed through relaxation test and creep test. BroadbandDielectric Spectroscopy (BDS) and Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) were conducted to observemicrostructural changes.
