Poly(ether ketone ketone)(PEKK) is a high-performance thermoplastic from the poly(aryl ether ketone)(PAEK) family that can be applied in various fields. One of the primary uses of PEKK is in automotive parts, such as seal rings within vehicles. To facilitate these applications, nanofiller like graphene nano platelet(GNP) is added to enhance the properties of PEKK. In this study, the changes in properties of PEKK were measured based on the amount of pristine GNP added and the changes in properties based on the amount of GNP functionalized with compatibilizer added into PEKK matrix. The differences in properties between the two types of specimens were also compared. Additionally, to simulate the harsh conditions encountered in actual use, specimens were exposed to artificially created harsh environments, and the changes in properties according to exposure time on these conditions were measured.
