Alginate, a naturally derived biopolymer, has garnered significant research interest due to its inherent biocompatibility, biodegradability, and versatility. Its ability to form hydrogels with controlled properties has led to widespread applications in drug delivery, tissue engineering, and other biomedical fields. However, traditional alginate encapsulation methods often rely on complex processes and harsh chemicals, limiting their scalability and practical application. A simple approach is introduced for the scalable synthesis of robust alginate capsules with tunable shell thickness.
