MXenes have attracted significant attention owing to their superior properties including high electrical conductivity, and chemical versatility from their inherent termination sites. These properties enable their use in various applications, such as sensors, batteries, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding films. In particular, while conductive EMI shielding films have been extensively developed, insulating EMI shielding films with high performance without additional insulating encapsulations are essential for practical applications. In this study, we fabricated an insulating EMI shielding film using a 2D layered matrix of MXene (Ti3C2) and insulating oxide perovskite Sr2Nb3O10 (SNO). The highly ordered planar stacked structure of this composite film demonstrated remarkable EMI shielding effectiveness, suitable for applications requiring both EMI shielding and electrical insulation without additional encapsulation.
