Polymer solar cells (PSCs) offer advantages such as low production costs and flexibility, but they suffer from drawbacks including low efficiency and poor charge transport properties. Additionally, limitations in light absorption efficiency in organic solar cells are originated from relatively thin thickness (~100 nm) due to low charge carrier mobility. To address these issues, we suggest the simple method for PSCs with efficient charge transport by adding semiconducting single-wall carbon nanotubes (s-SWNTs) with various diameter and length. This approach aims to reduce carrier recombination, thereby increasing charge-carrier mobility and enhancing efficiency in PSCs. This approach can provide efficient PSCs with thick thickness. Additionally, this will contribute to the research and development of polymer solar cells for future commercialization.
