Amorphous materials have solid-like mechanical properties like crystalline materials but offer morphological homogeneity upon mixing and have unlimited compositional tunability. In understanding polymeric glass formers, the dynamics leading to the glass transition are crucial since the glass transition determines the integrity of the materials and is a kinetic process. In addition, understanding the dynamics of a component in a mixture is even more pivotal because many applications use mixtures, and the performance of these systems depends on the mobility of each component. The key dynamic features of glass transition that need to be addressed in comprehending dynamics in polymeric glass formers are the dramatic slowing of molecular motions upon cooling, which is the origin of glass formation, and stretched exponential relaxation of the dynamics which results from dynamic heterogeneity of the system,
