The studies of chiral polymeric compounds are essential to reproducing the functions of natural macromolecules, contributing to the humanistic demand of replicating and cloning nature. We designed a chiral from an isosorbide core, following a straightforward crafting strategy by both identical and distinct substituents. Mesogenic and aliphatic fractions were adjusted and imported to enhance the crystallinity and alignment of the polymer. Aromatic amines and imidazolium initiators were operated for an advantageous curing process and the insertion of crosslinks to the materials. Curing conditions were settled, and the thermal properties of the obtained copolymers were measured. Subsequent research focused on the treatments of the racemate and chiral uniformly mesogenic polymers to identify the improvements to their liquid crystallinity.
