Understanding photophysical interactions between the components in organic-inorganic nanocomposites is a key factor for their efficient application in optoelectronic devices. In this presentation, we prepared a hybrid system by incorporation of semiconductor nanocrystals into the conjugated polymer (CP) matrix. We found that the photoluminescence (PL)-property in the hybrid system is clearly intensified compared to that in a neat CP system. To elucidate the photoluminescene-enhancement mechanism in the hybrid film induced by the photophysical interaction between the components, we analyzed the femtosecond transient absorption spectra of the hybrid thin films with our proposed kinetic models. Our findings may provide important information that can be used to increase the efficiency of the CP-based optoelectronic devices.
