Polymer solar cells(PSCs) have benefits such as flexibility, light weight, scalability, mass production capability, and low manufacturing cost. However, PSCs suffer from the low mobility and a short exciton diffusion length of approximately 20 nm, which leads to charge recombination and reduce charge transport. To solve this problem, we suggest a facile method to improve exciton/charge transport of the widely studied PM6:Y6-based PSCs by utilizing the dual additives as semiconducting single wall carbon nano tube (s-SWNT) and solvent. s-SWNT has the advantage of high charge mobility. This merit enables enhanced charge transport and increased thickness of active layer, resulting in sunlight harvesting. Therefore, highly efficient PSCs with thick active layer can be demonstrated. This is a significant step forward in improving the efficiency and performance of PSCs.
