내용
Today, the lack of energy and access to clean drinking water are pressing issues worldwide. The growth of the water treatment industry has significantly boosted the membrane market. Hydrophobic polymers are mainly used to fabricate porous membranes through the phase inversion process because of their stability in water. Among the hydrophobic polymers, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is notably used in polymeric membranes due to its various advantages, such as good thermal and mechanical stability and high chemical resistance. However, PVDF membranes encounter reduced filtration performance due to fouling. To address this challenge, many researchers have focused on modifying the hydrophilicity of the membrane. In our research, we coated the membrane with a functionalized fluorinated polymer to introduce vinyl groups. Furthermore, we utilized ex-situ modification to control pore size and formed a crosslinked structure, thereby improving the anti-fouling performance and stability.
