Abstract This study introduces innovative methods for developing stable emulsified nickel (Ni) pastes for electronic applications. A Ni/polymer composite solution (Ni@EC paste) transitions to a water-based system using an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion, minimizing interaction with underlying layers during coating and drying processes. Additionally, BaTiO3 (BT) nanoparticles are employed as emulsifying agents to stabilize the O/W emulsions. This approach replaces most solvent phases with water and achieves long-term stability. The BT nanoparticles, with their core-shell structure, ensure the emulsion maintains its properties even under high temperatures. These techniques significantly enhance the performance and durability of conductive pastes. By facilitating the transition to water-based systems and providing stable emulsions, these methods advance the development of robust and reliable conductive materials for various electronic applications.
