A burgeoning field of electronic materials offers a contrasting outcome - transient devices capable of dissolving, disintegrating, or disappearing at predetermined times or rates. Among these, water-soluble transient electronics stand out for their potential in bioresorbable medical implants, customizable to dissolve in harmony with an individual's body chemistry. In my forthcoming presentation, I aim to elucidate fundamental concepts in chemistry and materials science, particularly focusing on polymeric materials, and the intricate assembly processes crucial for the development of bioresorbable electronic medicine. Through a comprehensive overview, I will delve into the innovative design principles behind bioresorbable wireless electronic stimulators tailored for the treatment of temporary bradycardia, offering a tangible illustration of the transformative capabilities of this emerging technology.
