Organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) have shed light on their potential in bioelectronics and neuromorphic computing. Numerous research have been studied to modulate their electrochemical doping performance and formulate a simple approach to control iontronics through the molecular level modulations, however, the their effects have not been studied in detail on OECTs. Here, we systematically control the structural and electrical properties of conjugated polymers for enhancing the nonvolatile characteristics of OECTs. We revealed the relationships between crystal orientation, adsorption behaviors, and electrochemical doping states of conjugated polymers.
