Lead halide perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) have garnered significant attention as next-generation photoactive materials owing to their excellent optical properties such as high color purity with narrow emission and high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY). However, PQDs exhibit low chemical and ambient stabilities caused by inherent their ionic nature and low formation energy. In this study, we synthesized green color-emitting core/shell PQDs by coating a Cs4PbBr6 shell onto a CsPbBr3 PQD core through controlled manipulation of the crystallographic dimensions of a Cs-Pb-Br ternary compound system. As a result, these core/shell PQDs showed highly bright green emission while exhibiting significantly enhanced chemical stability.
