As the population continues to age, the need for bone tissue engineering research arises due to injuries caused by their reduced physical abilities and deteriorated bone physical properties due to the increase in the elderly population. Bone tissue engineering has been steadily developing to date, and the design of functional scaffolds that can be implanted in the human body has recently been in the spotlight. Here, we have designed a nanofiber scaffold based on natural protein polymer that regenerates bone tissue synergistically by electric stimuli to the damaged area through self-generation according to body movement and constant drug delivery through core-shell structural characteristics. We analyzed the mineralization of nanofibers by drug release according to structural design as well as the bone tissue regeneration ability by electrical stimulation changes according to the protein composition ratio. Our nanofiber scaffold was confirmed to have excellent mineralization ability and great bone tissue regeneration performance.
