The thermal conductivity in a polymer is very low, ranging from 0.1 to 0.2 W/mK. In this study, in order to increase thermal conductivity, a comparative experiment was performed by increasing the pH of a polymer aqueous solution. Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(EGDE) was used as a cross-linking agent and poly(acrylic acid)(PAA) sheets were prepared with various pH. The thermal conductivity was measured using the laser flash analyzer (LFA) method. As a result, it was found that the higher the pH and the ratio of PAA, the higher the thermal conductivity. This is thought to be due to the ionization of acrylic acid groups as the PAA content and the pH increase.
