초록

내용
Swelling of organic mixed ionic–electronic conductors (OMIECs) is an inevitable process during the operation of organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs), but there are few studies on the structure-property relationship of swollen OMIECs. In this study, we demonstrate that the sulfuric acid treatment of PEDOT:PSS film with varying concentrations of sulfuric acid can control the crystallinity and morphology of the PEDOT:PSS films. By combining the local charge transport characteristics obtained by THz measurements and the long-range charge transport characteristics derived from OECT analysis, it is unveiled that the volume of the amorphous region in PEDOT:PSS film predominant factor in terms of charge transport for both before and after swelling. This study offers insights into the swelling of polymeric mixed conductors and the provides a systematic approach for designing materials or devices that operate in swollen states, allowing for more sophisticated control of performance or operational conditions.
