Liquid crystalline (LC) polymers are advantageous for forming a heat transfer path due to the mesogenic core of the reactive mesogens (RM) with polymerizable end groups. Thermal conductivity is affected by the crystallinity of the liquid crystalline network structure. In this study, LC with a diacrylate end group is polymerized with a few kinds of acrylate monomers. The curing condition was controlled to occur in the temperature range in which the liquid crystalline phase is maintained. The thermal conductivity was measured using a laser flash method and the LC network made from RM showed higher thermal conductivity than conventional polymers with around 0.2W/mK.
