Flexible and stretchable perovskites – polymer composite thin film in X-ray imaging

X-ray scanning is a familiar medical diagnosis; even though this technique is successfully developed under patient eyes, everything needs to be improved under scientific eyes. That is the way scientific life works. X-ray imaging requires a particular room for settling, and each machine is only suitable for each body part, such as X-ray capturing for the back and lung is different from X-ray in dental. The reason belongs to the structure of the detector; it is a rigid flat panel, so for the round surface, it needs to scan from different angles and uses some IT technology to combine images to get an overall picture. To address this problem, our research is focused on developing a flexible detector with bendability and stretchability properties that can self-change to adapt to different situations of patients.
