Organic solar cells (OSCs) have realized a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) greater than 19%. Poor contact between the organic photoactive layer and the inorganic electron transport layer (ETL) limit the stability of OSCs. Herein, we developed inverted OSCs based on PM6:Y6-BO system by employing ZnO ETL modified with ultraviolet (UV) resins and significantly enhanced the PCE from 13.59% to 14.62% & 14.57%. Furthermore, the OSCs based on ZnO modified ETLs retained higher percentage of their initial PCE upon thermal and light soaking tests for 200 and 1000 hours respectively as compared to the OSCs with unmodified ZnO ETLs. These results provide an effective scheme to modify ZnO surface and show prospects for application of UV resins in photovoltaic devices
