DR-NIR (Deep red to Near-infrared) emitting technology, which has recently received a lot of research attention, is a field that is being developed because it can be used in various fields such as light therapy, night vision, and communication technology, including display devices. In this study, various phosphorescent materials with a unitary internal quantum efficiency (IQE) theoretically reaching 100% were developed. Based on established theory, this study developed many materials ranging from red to near-infrared. As a strategy for fine wavelength control, a heteroleptic iridium material with two identical ligands and a different type of ligand 12 species were developed. Some of these materials have been fabricated into OLED devices and applied to phototherapy technology, thereby reporting practical applicability.
