Electronic devices that can be worn by humans or attached to the human skin due to their similar mechanical properties have been receiving a lot of attention recently. For the integration of heat-sensitive chips, stretchable interface materials that can be processed at low temperatures are required. Stretchable conductive materials previously reported require additional energy, such as high temperature or UV curing, which can result in chip damage. To address these issues, we develop a conductive stretchable interface material that is capable of being processed and patterned at low temperatures. To protect chips from damage caused by curing process, we propose SBS(styrene-butadiene-styrene) which harden at room temperature as a matrix of conductive stretchable composite. The composite is made of SBS, silver flake and paraffin oil. The rheology of the paste was controlled to enable nozzle jet printing. As a result, complex patterning and Via-hole printing have become possible.
