The new Polymer based dopant-free hole transport material (HTM) Nap-PzTBr is designed and synthesized for fabrication of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The thermal, photophysical and electrochemical properties of Nap-PZTBr were systematically investigated. Nap-PZTBr exhibited a band gap of 1.96 eV with HOMO of -5.596 eV and LUMO of -3.636 eV. The electron withdrawing nature of pyrazine results in better intermolecular interactions, affording high hole mobility and charge transfer properties. Thus, optimized Nap-PzTBr based device showed PCE of 17.5% with open-circuit voltage of 1.09 V, short-circuit current density of 24.45 mA/cm2 and fill factor of 64.89%. This results indicate that pyrazine based polymer have great to further development of HTM.
