We showcase versatile, sustainable and simplified synthesis for highly organized pressure-sensitive adhesives through visible light-mediated Photoiniferter-RAFT polymerization of acrylic co-polymers under the controlled manner which differentiated by only single factor; molecular weight up to 3 MDa under the same composition and equivalent experimental scales. Diversified adhesive and viscoelastic properties of PSAs were investigated by manipulating Mw, and we assessed that sufficiently maximized entanglement and ultra-high Mw contents of PSA polymers can be generate excellent cohesiveness without reinforcement of cross-linking network. Moreover, fully linear poly(acrylate)s can be soluble to adapting reprocessing process. Hopefully, this study will be envisioning that accessing UHMW polymers would be the one of the clue to achieve highly reliable materials which requires from advanced technologies.
