Many studies have been conducted using self-healing materials to prevent performance degradation due to damage in various electronic device fields such as E-skin and wearable devices. Among them, hydrogels have attracted attention as devices for self-healing due to their advantages such as self-healing ability and excellent flexibility. However, due to the bulk characteristics of the hydrogel, it is difficult to pattern through a printing process such as screen printing. Here, we introduce a method for producing a hydrogel made using poly (vinyl alcohol) and tannic acid in an ink form applicable to the screen printing process using an alcohol solvent. By interfering with the interaction between PVA and TA using ethanol, an ink-type hydrogel was prepared, and this was applied to a screen printing process to prepare a hydrogel of various patterns.
