Tissue engineering of cell sheet is essential part of the regenerative medicine so culturing patient origin cell and transferring to the injured tissue are significant process. In the cell sheet therapy, hMSCs(human mesenchymal cells) are useful cell source that can differentiate into various related cells. Conventional cell transfer method always include the process of cell detachment from cell culture plates with chemical or physical disruptions. Here in, we deposited poly(Ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) (pEGDMA) and poly(Hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (pHEMA) by initiated chemical vapor deposition(iCVD) process to induce cell adhesion and DPBS treated detachment protocol. OTS(Trichloro octadecyl silane) are reacted on polymer using patterned PDMS fot circular cell sheet. Detached cell sheet fragments retain high cell viability and ECM after the cell detachment and keep their original shape even after injection using syringe. This newly developed cell sheet fragment formation strategy would ease cell sheet formation and enable the simplified surgery with injection method.
