초록

내용
Most plastics are split or decomposed into microplastics and nanoplastics through photolysis, oxidation, and hydrolysis. These can be easily ingested by living organisms and are a potential threat to mankind through the food chain. For this reason, studies on the toxicity and behavior of plastics are being conducted actively. However the detection of nanoplastics remains a challenge. So, recently, the detection of single polymer nanoparticles using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) with high sensitivity, fast response, and excellent selectivity has attracted attention. However, limited hotspots of metallic particles still have uncertainties.

Therefore, in this study, a highly sensitive SERS substrate was fabricated using a substrate based on metal nanoparticles with maximized hot spots to study the behavior of nanoplastics. As a result of checking the maximum detection limit (LOD) of the fabricated SERS substrate, it was possible up to femtomoles.
