내용
Steering stability of magnetic microrobots is essential for continuously controlling their locomotion to the desired directions. Herein, we discuss the importance of nanoscale distribution of magnetic nanoparticles within magnetic microrobots to achieve regular and stable rotational and revolving motions. In order to contemplate the controllability of the magnetic microrobots, magnetically responsive polymer nanocomposites are prepared by two different processing methods with identical chemical make-ups, yielding a stark difference in spatial distribution: magnetic nanoparticles show either macroscopic phase-separation or nanoscale distribution in polymer nanocomposites. The nanoscale distribution of magnetic nanoparticles is confirmed by investigating structure-properties of the polymer nanocomposites. We will also discuss the distribution effects of the magnetic nanoparticles on locomotion of the magnetic microrobots.
