One of the most popular efforts to reduce fossil fuel use is the commercialization of electric vehicles. However, the safety problem of lithium-ion is one of the biggest problems in the commercialization of electric vehicles. In order to solve this problem, research on solid electrolytes that replace existing liquid electrolytes is actively progressed for few years. For commercialization of solid electrolyte, ion conductivity and lithium transference number must reach certain achievement. Up to now, research has been conducted with lithium ion conductive materials, such as oxides, sulfides, polymers, etc. However, there is a certain limitation to the performance of ion conduction through ion conductive materials. Accordingly, this study have goal to create ion transport channels through the metal organic framework and polymers so that they could have higher performance with not only chemical way but also mechanical way.
