Because of its good applications in soft robotics, smart clothing, and human motion sensing, soft strain sensors have received a lot of attention. There is a high demand for mechanically robust, highly conductive strain sensors with a broad working range, good linearity, and quick response. In this study, we prepared the strain sensors comprising multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs), poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly (styrene sulfonate), and natural rubber, which is mechanically tough and flexible. Sulfur was used to crosslink the natural rubber used in the soft strain sensor, and the amount, temperature, and time of the crosslinking process were changed to alter the strain sensor's physical features. Controlling the modulus allows us to achieve more accurate sensor behavior than other factors.
