Bone regeneration is a biological event involving a several cells. For bone regeneration, the activation of various cells has to be increased. Cell electrical stimulation can enhance cellular functions, such as activation of ion channels on the cell membrane. In general, new bone tissue takes long periods to form a stable osseointegration. To overcome these issues, we design innovative methods using the body-mediated energy loss conversion (BELC) system. The BELC system induces a low-frequency electric field that vitalizes the cell functions locally by utilizing human-activity driven electrical energy. For the in-vivo study, we fabricated one side-coated Mxene PTFE membrane for electric stimulation to accelerate osteogenesis in rabbit skulls. As a result, we confirmed bone regeneration with accelerated osteogenesis. Furthermore, we confirmed enhanced cellular functions by activation of ion channels on the cell membrane and increased expression of osteogenic differentiation marker.
