Indoor photovoltaic cells (iPVC’s) have attracted great interest due to their potential applications for operating Internet-of-Things (IoT) electronic devices based on efficient conversion of indoor light energy to electricity. Perovskite is promising material for indoor light harvester considering their excellent indoor power conversion efficiency (iPCE). However, high iPCE perovskite solar cells (PSCs) still depend on the anti-solvent-dropping process to achieve high short-circuit current and fill factors, which is complexed and cause batch-to-batch performance differences. In this study, we report anti-solvent-free perovskite layer for high iPVC’s working for both p-i-n and n-i-p structures. PSCs based on the suggested one-step coating process exhibited high iPCE up to 25.5 and 24.5 % in p-i-n and n-i-p structures under 1000 Lux LED illumination environment. These results suggest that preparation of anti-solvent-free perovskite employed in this work can be an effective method to develop low-cost and uniform production of high efficiency indoor PSCs.
