In vivo biosensors play an essential role in biomedical research because of its continuous and long-term monitoring of target analytes. However, low signal selectivity and inflammation between the bioelectronics and tissues result in low sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR). In addition, wireless transmission platform necessarily needs for biosignals monitoring. Here in, we propose a novel platform of biocompatible ionogel(Bionogel) with wireless monitoring exploiting a piezo-driven ion confinement structure that enables precise mechanical biosignal readout. We develop hydrogen-bonded choline-based ion pairs on the surface of functionalized gold particles embedded into chitosan biopolymer matrix to introduce mechanosensitive characteristics. Furthermore, Bionogel is integrated into LC circuit antenna which enables to transmit signals from the body. As a result, we believe our platform can serve as a blueprint for the development of the next-generation health monitoring system.
