Among polymers, polyimide (PI) is a polymer material with thermal stability and has excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. In this study, urethane and ethylene groups were introduced into the monomer to make polyimide with higher elongation. Monomers with 3, 4, and 5 ethylene groups were synthesized. Polyimide was prepared by reacting the prepared three types of diamine with 6FDA. It was confirmed that the diamine was synthesized through FT-NMR (Fourier Transform Nuclear Magnetic Resonance), and the polyimide was analyzed through FT-NMR, FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), and XPS (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy). The thermal properties of the film were analyzed through thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and the mechanical properties were analyzed through UTM. As a result, it was confirmed that it had a tensile strain of up to 15%.
