After confirming the FK-type A15, σ, and C14 phases in liner type conformationally asymmetric polydimethylsiloxane-b-poly(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl acrylate)s (PDMS-b-PTFEAs), we modulate the molecular chain configuration for controlling spherical mesophases. To eliminate volume-composition dependence of the spherical phases, PDMS-b-PTFEAs were judiciously synthesized to generate the matched pairs of samples. One is nearly narrow diBCPs with the core-forming PTFEA block of which volume fractions, fPTFEA = 0.20, 0.18, and 0.15, and the other is triBCP-containing counterparts with exactly same fPTFEA. Surprisingly, those BCP pairs with the identical chemical compositions display different packing structures each other.
