Mechanical and biological properties depending on light intensity in photo-crosslinked HA hydrogel

The aim of this study is to measure the generation and stiffness of various hydrogels such as gelatin hydrogel and HA hydrogel according to the illuminance of light, and to investigate the effect of the generated hydrogel on cells. Through this, we will proceed with photocrosslinking by adjusting the illuminance for each hydrogel. We will measure the illumination of the blue light at a certain distance and find the optimal intensity of light using the difference in illumination generated by the distance. The mechanical properties of the generated hydrogel measure the strength through the storage modulus through the rheometer and the loss modulus. Cell activity will also be tested for cytotoxicity of each hydrogel through mtt assay and whether it can be applied as a biomaterial. In conclusion, the optimal strength of various hydrogels as biomaterials can be found and used for future research.
