There is huge demand for flexible and stretchable devices above current devices like Samsung Galaxy Fold and Flip. However, current PSAs have limitations in softness and stretchability. The shear modulus of PSAs should be lowered further to decrease internal stress in multi-layered devices by splitting their neutral plane efficiently. In addition, due to the viscoelasticity of PSAs, a plastic deformation of adhesives is frequently occurred after out-forced folding and stretching. Thus, a soft and stretchable adhesives are of great interests. We are focusing on a bottlebrush polymer to obtain a soft and stretchable PSAs.
