Effects of Polymeric Additives on Li-Battery Performance

Solid-state lithium metal batteries still require the improvement of their stability and high energy storage ability for practical applications. Herein, we introduced polymeric additives into electrolytes and investigated their effects on Li-battery performance. The side-chain of polymer additives was systematically engineered to promote the dissociation of Li-salt. As a result, we could achieve high energy density with reliable charge-discharge cycles. The results support the effectiveness of polymeric additives for high-performance Li-batteries.
