초록

내용
Textile-based sensors can perceive and respond to environmental stimuli in daily life, and hence are crucial components of wearable devices. Here, self-powered triboelectric wearable sensors are fabricated with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) fibers stitched by a sewing machine. Based on the outstanding mechanical properties of as-spun PVDF fibers, it is allowed to utilize a sewing machine to stitch them into diverse textile patterns on various fabrics. Because of higher electron affinity of PVDF, such stitches can provide remarkable triboelectric signals when contacted with the opposing surfaces of fabrics. Moreover, PVDF stitch-based triboelectric sensors are wearable, washable, and comfortable due to the all-stitched structures. In addition, we present a new strategy for the enhanced triboelectric performance with electrical polarization. This work provides a feasible fabrication approach of the textile sensors using a sewing machine, with many possible e-textile applications.
