Here, we fabricated TEMPO-oxidized tunicate-cellulose nanocrystal(TCNC) composite Polyimide(PI) foam via High Internal Phase Pickering Emulsion(HIPPE) system. HIPPE system has the advantage of fabricating the high porous polymer composite and easily controlling the porosity of porous polymer composites without agglomerating of cellulose nanocrystals. Adsorption for heavy metal ions such as Pb, Cu was carried out from fabricated TCNC-PI foam.
