We designed and synthesized three blue thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitters, 9,9',9''-(4-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)benzene-1,2,3-triyl)tris(9H-carbazole) (234CzTrz), 9,9',9''-(6-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)benzene-1,2,4-triyl)tris(9H-carbazole) (235CzTrz). and 9,9',9''-(5-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)benzene-1,2,4-triyl)tris(9H-carbazole) (245CzTrz). We confirmed that the 234CzTrz had short delayed lifetime of 4.1μs compared with that of others. In the device application, the 234CzTrz device showed 20.4% of maximum external quantum efficiency and extremely low efficiency roll-off. This result showed that synthesized emitter effectively worked in blue TADF organic light-emitting diodes.
